After seeing Gourmet bring the minimalist version of the Jordan to the market I began to wonder if they could do anything but clone and color shoes. However after seeing one of the shoes from their F/W 2009 collection Gourmet shows how innovative the company can be. The most promising aspect of the shoe-besides the fact htat I can see any obvious nods to the Jordan- is the diagonal lace, and even though its been done many times before I can’t help but feel that Gourmet is evolving as a company.  F/W 2009 will prove to be a very interesting year for Gourmet.
